Steamed Green

Green tea that is bursting with fresh, green aromas! The leaves maintain their Sencha-like aromas because the steaming process is ultra speedy with whopping 130 degrees! Normally the temperature is 65 degrees, so this fast processing keeps the green, grassy-like aromas in the leaf and creating a fresh sweetness to the cup.

Tasting notes: Light green tea with vegetal and mineral notes, young pineapple, macadamia, honey melon, spinach, green grapes, thyme, fresh cut grass, green beans.

Brewing: 1,5g tea / 1 dl water, 75C for 1.30 min

Process: Orthodox method with hand-picked two leaves and a bud, steamed at 130C, rolled to create a green fresh and light profile and then the leaves are dried. Whole leaves. Pesticide-free Fair Trade farming

Origin: Single Origin cooperative Satemwa, Thyolo, Malawi. The farm size for each small farmer is approx. 0,5 ha.
