Limited Harvest Green Oolong

Limited Edition Green Oolong from Malawi.

Produced in September 2021 – around that time of the year the tea farm is experiencing some lovely first flushes.

A southern hemisphere Malawi spring tea – inspired by the Darjeeling tea crafting methods – not fully oxidized, so it produces a lighter cup with greener flavours than our Whim Oolong.

The tea bushes benefit from the “winter” Chiperoni (a Malawian term for a kind of drizzle rain, experienced in the Shire Highlands of southern Malawi during the cold, dry season) adding moisture in the soil and the plants revive with the temperatures rising up.

Fresh and fruity with a golden liquid and a light mouthfeel. Greener flavours present due to lighter oxidation and longer steaming.
