Black Treasure

This tea is perfectly balanced between being strong and having complex, dark sweetness. It is carefully processed and rolled to ensure that all those numerous long-lasting and interesting aromas come forth. A pleasing sweet aftertaste with a lot of depth in flavor.

If you're a person that likes adding milk to their black tea, this tea is suited for that purpose as well, even though it's always recommended to taste the teas in their own right.

Tasting notes: Full-bodied black tea with tasty sweetness, rich flavors of nutmeg, sweet grilled banana, malty, mineral, dark honey, roasted nuts and a long aftertaste

Brewing: 1,5g tea / 1 dl water, 95C for 1.30 min

Process: Orthodox method with hand picked two leaves and a bud. The leaves are rolled lightly in order to give space for the sweeter aromas. The leaves have been left to oxidate for a shorter time so it creates a bit lighter mouthfeel. Whole leaves. Fair Trade pesticide-free farming.

Origin: Single Origin Satemwa cooperation, Thyolo, Malawi. The small farmers' own appr. 0,5 ha each
